Kent has a wealth of
beautiful places to visit including many National
Trust properties such as...Ightham Mote and Knole
House and deer park. It is possible to walk to
knole deer park from us via the many bridle paths
that link the Kent countryside.. On the way to
knole deer park why not stop for lunch at The
Snail, a gastro pub in Stone Street.. The Snail
has a large garden to enjoy lunch on a sunny day.
Emmetts Lodge is nearby in Ide Hill near
Sevenoaks.

Penshurst Place is on the way
to Royal Tunbridge Wells, one of Kents most
Beautiful towns. Sissinghurst near Cranbrook,
about a 90 minute drive. Canterbury is also within
a 90 minute drive, a must for those who enjoy
visiting cathedrals. |

country house is within half an hours drive, in
Westerham. Both Leeds Castle and Hever Castle are
within a 40 minute drive..

If you don't feel like
driving, Oldbury Woods are close to us, the site
of an Ironage settlement . The Harrow Pub is down
the lane, a 5 minute walk and The Plough is within
a 20 minute walk. Both serve great food in a
friendly, cosy atmosphere (closed Mondays). |
